Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Welder, you will fabricate and assemble metal structures, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Your expertise in various welding techniques and familiarity with power tools will be essential in delivering exceptional results.

Duties

  • Reading design drawings
  • Fabrication of sub-assemblies
  • Welding metal features into containers
  • Grinding, smoothing, filling, fixing, plasma cutting, cleaning
  • Prep, priming, painting
  • Forklift operation (Training & certification education provided)
  • Readying unit for next trade(s)
  • Carpentry
  • Spray foaming
  • Utilize power tools and equipment such as plasma cutters, callipers, and cranes for precise measurements and cuts.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Assisting with carpentry, assembly, and any other duties that help teammates
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
  • Familiarity with ductwork fabrication techniques is a plus.
  • Proficient in operating various welding equipment and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy materials.
