Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Weekend Brunch Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about providing exceptional guest experiences in a lively brunch setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. As a Weekend Brunch Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding hospitality, ensuring food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times
  • Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy brunch hours
  • Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any special requests or concerns promptly

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes
  • Experience with food industry practices including serving, food safety, and sanitation protocols
  • Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
