Full job description

NAPA Auto Parts in Okotoks has an immediate opening for a part-time permanent Saturday parts delivery person. The shift is every Saturday from 8:45-4:00. There is potential for fill in or on-call work for 8-10 weeks of the year.

NAPA Auto Parts has been in Okotoks for 29 years. The current local owners have been in place since 2011 and built the current store in 2015. The auto parts industry, while having some issues, has not been as negatively impacted by the tarriffs as some industries.

The responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to:

- Driving safely while obeying the traffic laws

- Courteously and professionally interacting with customers and clients

- Accurately and efficiently delivering parts and products to wholesale customers

- Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicles and the store

- Amicably working and communicating with other teammates

- Potentially assisting retail customers

The ideal skill set for this position is the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Paying attention to detail, possessing good organizational skill, and being a decent people person. Preference will be given to candidates with these attributes. This is an ideal position for someone attending school, a retired person looking to still contribute, or someone looking to supplement their main income. Potential flexibility to cover other driver's holidays would be an added bonus. Looking for a committed team member for a minimum of 2 years.
