We’re hiring Tour Guides & Ticketing Specialists for Toronto’s double-decker sightseeing tours and other experiences.

Pay: From $17.87 per hour plus commission

Tour Guide & Ticketing Specialist

Seasonal Contract | Toronto Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Tours

We’re a leading sightseeing tour company in Toronto, best known for our iconic open-top double-decker bus tours, and we’re looking for engaging, confident individuals to join our team for the 2026 season.

This role combines hosting and delivering live commentary on double-decker tours with on-site ticket sales for our sightseeing tours and related experiences, all in a dynamic, outdoor environment.

(Contract position through November 2026)

Students of history, heritage, tourism, and related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hosting guests aboard our double-decker sightseeing buses, delivering engaging, story-driven commentary
  • Bringing Toronto’s history, neighbourhoods, and landmarks to life for visitors
  • Interacting with guests in a friendly, professional manner on and off the bus
  • Explaining double-decker tour routes, schedules, and features
  • Selling and processing tickets for double-decker tours and other sightseeing experiences
  • Redeeming and validating tickets efficiently to keep boarding and guest flow smooth
  • Assisting guests in planning their day and choosing the right tour options
  • Communicating with dispatch and office staff regarding schedules and operations
  • Representing the City Sightseeing Toronto brand with enthusiasm and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable speaking with the public and engaging individuals or groups
  • Positive, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
  • Interest in storytelling, tourism, or guest experience
  • Comfortable with guest interaction and ticket sales
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently
  • Flexible availability, including weekends
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Second languages are a strong asset
