Purpose
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for a designer with a passion for visual storytelling, brand consistency, and digital content creation. The Junior Graphic Designer will collaborate with the marketing team, vendors, media partners, and internal stakeholders to develop engaging visuals for social media, web, print, and promotional materials. Additionally, this role will support branding initiatives, event collateral, and digital marketing efforts to strengthen and enhance brand presence across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Design and develop marketing materials including social media graphics, email campaigns, brochures, signage, presentations, promotional materials, and digital advertisements.
  • Create marketing materials, digital graphics, and promotional content for both print and digital platforms.
  • Assist with branding initiatives and visual content development across multiple projects and campaigns.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets and communication channels.
  • Create engaging layouts and visual content for presentations, reports, and promotional campaigns.
  • Edit, optimize, and prepare images and creative assets for web and print applications.
  • Collaborate with vendors, printers, and media partners to ensure high-quality production of marketing materials.
  • Work with media partners to develop visual content for press releases, advertisements, and editorial features.
  • Support event branding initiatives including signage, promotional materials, and digital assets.
  • Assist with website updates, digital graphics, and online marketing initiatives as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on creative concepts, campaigns, and visual storytelling strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and graphic design best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of graphic design experience, including internships, freelance, or professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Experience with Canva, Figma, or other digital design tools is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout design, branding, and color theory.
  • Strong creativity with excellent attention to detail and visual consistency.
  • Ability to take creative direction and apply feedback effectively.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital marketing content, and platform-specific design requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing, photography, motion graphics, or multimedia design is considered an asset.
Role Specific Requirements
  • Experience working with vendors, printers, media partners, and external suppliers is preferred.
  • Experience with social media content creation and platform management is considered an asset.
  • Experience with website design and/or website development is considered an asset.
  • Photography, videography, video editing, or digital marketing experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to support event branding and promotional initiatives as required.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual salary range: $50,000 – $60,000, based on experience and qualifications
