Full job description

Kove Kitchen is located right on the water in beautiful and scenic Steveston. We boast 65 seats on our patio and 80 seats indoors. Our location is a hidden gem right in the heart of the Steveston waterfront. Our menu is approachable, casual and family friendly. We have an amazing serving and kitchen team that has help us achieve an excellent reputation in our community.

We are in search some strong cooks with prior experience in fast paced kitchens. MINIMUM 2 YEARS KITCHEN EXPERIENCE. We are very busy in the Summer with a very strong tip output. We will be connecting only with those who have executed in restaurants with busy kitchen lines.

The ideal candidate will assist us in the following duties and expectations:

  • running and leading our line on busy nights
  • ordering and working with the owners to insure sufficient stock levels
  • menu creation and menu direction, features and specials
  • must be available 5 days (during our busy season you must be flexible)
  • maintain cleanliness of our kitchen (it's small and gets chaotic during the Summer!)

Our kitchen team will train you until you are familiar with our current menu. We also have an established team and day prep personnel ready to support you.
