About the Role
OutsidePros — Exterior Home Care by MOLLY MAID — is a new exterior home services brand being built by the team behind one of Canada’s most trusted and recognized franchise systems. MOLLY MAID has spent decades perfecting what it means to deliver consistent, professional home care at scale. OutsidePros brings that same DNA — the systems, the standards, and the franchise expertise — to the exterior of the home.
This is not a cleaning job. It’s a client-facing role where the technical work and the client relationship matter equally — and both are what you’re paid for. You’ll be trained to deliver every OutsidePros service to a real standard, and just as thoroughly trained to talk to clients, spot what a home actually needs, and confidently suggest it. The team members who do both well are among the best-compensated people in this industry, because the pay structure was built specifically to reward both halves of the job, not just one.
If you take pride in doing physical work right, and you’re just as comfortable having a conversation with a homeowner as you are on a ladder — we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
In the Field
- Deliver OutsidePros services to residential clients in the Oakville/Burlington area
- Window washing (exterior and interior)
- Gutter clearing and inspection
- Power washing and soft washing (driveways, patios, decks, siding)
- Holiday lighting design, installation, and seasonal takedown
- Patio furniture winterization and seasonal preparation
- Operate and maintain all equipment — pressure washer, hose reels, water purification system, ladders, etc.
- Operate an articulating boom lift for holiday lighting installation and takedown on larger residential properties
- Follow OutsidePros service standards and quality checklists on every job
- Complete jobs to standard before leaving the site — no cutting corners
With Clients
- Walk the property with the client before starting, and explain what you’re seeing and what you recommend
- Identify and suggest relevant additional services while you’re already on site — the kind of thing a homeowner is genuinely glad you pointed out
- Introduce and explain the OutsidePros Maintenance Plan — a big part of how this business grows, and a direct part of how you get paid
- Ask satisfied clients for a Google review before you leave
- Represent the brand in every interaction — you are often the only OutsidePros employee a client will ever meet in person
Vehicle & Equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle at all times
- Perform daily equipment checks and flag maintenance issues promptly
- Load and unload equipment safely and efficiently at every job
As You Grow
- A real, structured path from your first day to running your own truck and eventually leading a team
- Pay increases at every step of that path, not just with tenure
- Contribute field insights that help improve OutsidePros systems and training
Who You Are
You’re reliable, physically capable, and you care about doing things right. You don’t need someone looking over your shoulder — once you know the standard, you hold yourself to it. You’re just as comfortable starting a conversation with a homeowner as you are on a ladder, and you’re not shy about pointing out something you noticed and suggesting they get it looked after.
You must have:
- Some experience in outdoor, physical, or hands-on work (landscaping, trades, cleaning, delivery, construction — anything that shows you can work hard)
- A valid Ontario G or G2 driver’s licence and a clean driving record
- Comfort working at heights — ladders and articulating boom lifts are part of the job (paid certification training provided)
- Genuine comfort talking to people — this role involves real conversations with clients, not just polite small talk
- A professional attitude with customers — you represent the brand at every door
- Reliability — if you’re on the schedule, you show up
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in window washing, pressure washing, or exterior cleaning
- Any experience where part of the job was recommending a product or service to a customer — retail, hospitality, or trades
- Experience with power equipment
- A track record of working independently without constant supervision
- An eye for detail — you notice what others miss
Compensation & How It Works
We believe the people doing the work should share directly in the results — from your very first job, not after some training period.
You earn a percentage of the revenue from every job you work, from day one. This isn't a training wage that later converts to commission — it's how you're paid from the start.
Team members in these roles typically earn $20–$32 per hour, based on current service revenue — starting around $20–$26/hour in spring and summer, with pay increasing further into the $25–$32 range in fall and winter (holiday lighting and patio furniture services). As you grow into a senior role, your earning potential grows with it.
That range reflects job revenue only. On top of it, you earn bonuses for the client-facing side of the role — bonuses are always additional, never built into the range above.
The better you get at both the technical work and the client conversation, the more you earn. There's a real, direct line between doing this job well and your paycheque — that's by design.
We'll walk you through exactly how the numbers work in your interview — no surprises.
What We Offer
- A pay structure that rewards great work — technical and client-facing — not just hours on the clock
- Seasonal start with genuine intent to keep strong performers year-round
- All equipment, chemicals, and supplies provided
- Uniforms provided
- Training and certification in all OutsidePros services
- Paid certification training in Working at Heights, Fall Protection, and Elevated Work Platforms (Boom Lifts) — certifications you keep for life
- A small, professional team where your work actually matters
Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour
Work Location: On the road
