Full job description

Grove Pharmacy is a small independent pharmacy located in the Walnut Grove area of the Township of Langley. We are closely integrated with Walnut Grove Medical clinic. We work in an interdisciplinary team with the family physicians and endocrinologist at the medical clinic. Our clients are primarily seniors and young families.

Our pharmacy has a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to work as a part time Pharmacist on Thursdays and Fridays and to provide vacation relief coverage at our location.

Our store is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and closed on weekends and stat holidays.

As a pharmacist, your responsibilities would include day to day pharmacy dispensing, checking blister packs, providing flu/covid vaccines and other immunizations, medication reviews, and other general pharmacist responsibilities.

The following qualifications are necessary for this position.

- A licensed pharmacist with the BC College of Pharmacists with a clinical background and experience in diabetes management

- Experience with WinRx pharmacy software

- Injection certification and comfortable providing COVID vaccines and other immunizations including flu, shingles, pneumonia, and travel vaccines

- Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

- Ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
