Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Front of the House Associate and be the welcoming face of our vibrant food service environment! In this energetic role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they walk in. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a memorable experience, whether taking orders, handling transactions, or assisting with food presentation. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the front of house area, including food safety and proper food handling procedures
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities with effective time management

Requirements

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, including familiarity with serving and cashiering roles
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations, and manage transactions efficiently
  • Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with food preparation or kitchen tasks is a plus but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
