Full job description

Mandarin-speaking Tour Guide

Aurora Village has a position available for our summer/fall season (Aug 12 to Oct 14) and our winter season (November 20 - April 7). Mandarin-speaking essential.

Hours should average 40 hours per week, including weekend and evening shifts. Approx 60 hours of training before the season start at $17.00/hr; regular hours at $18.00/hr. Overtime will happen and will be compensated in accordance with local laws.

Duties include: Accompanying and conducting a brief commentary on aurora-viewing tours, city tours, hiking tours, airport pick-ups to Mandarin-speaking guests. In winter, work includes facilitating our afternoon dog sledding and traditional snowshoe tours at Aurora Village.

Staff accommodations available upon request.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
