Job Overview

*Unpaid Volunteer Position - Open to Residents of Ontario*

We have (3) three openings for creative and results-driven Social Media Managers/Coordinators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and a deep understanding of social media platforms. This role involves developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive awareness of our programs. The role will be primarily remote, with on-site activities required a few times per year.

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
  • Create engaging content that aligns with brand messaging and resonates with target audiences.
  • Brainstorming and executing faith-based posts
  • Compiling program footage into engaging content
  • Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
  • Engage in social listening to monitor brand mentions and industry trends.
  • Manage Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
  • Oversee public relations efforts by managing relationships with influencers and media outlets.
  • Proofread all content for accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and social media management.
  • Work collaboratively with the social media team to release posts in alignment with organizational targets

Requirements

  • Experience in social media management or digital marketing (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms
  • Alignment with organization's Christian mission and values
  • Excellent content creation skills with a flair for branding and storytelling (preferred)
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, keyword research, and web analytics. (preferred)
  • Experience in public relations or relationship management is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of video editing
  • Ability to work independently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $0.01 per year
