Full job description

We are looking for motivated and caring students and volunteers to join our team at our North York location.
Our clinic provides programs and services for children, including children with developmental and learning needs. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience working with children and learning in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting children during individual and group activities
  • Assisting with school-readiness and developmental programs
  • Supporting children with attention, communication, social, and self-regulation skills
  • Helping with structured activities, games, arts, music, and movement
  • Observing and learning from experienced professionals
  • Assisting the team with program preparation and daily activities

Who we are looking for:

  • Students in Psychotherapy, Psychology, Child & Youth Care, Social Work, Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Behavioural Sciences, or related programs
  • Individuals who are responsible, compassionate, reliable, and comfortable working with children
  • Previous experience with children is an asset but not required
