Join the Canadian Centre for Clinical Trials as a Volunteer! We are a multi-disciplinary medical clinic, specializing in pain management and medical imaging looking for hard-working and inquisitive volunteers who want to gain experience in the field of medical research.

This position is open to volunteers who can commit to working one full-day shift a week.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the patient database with an Excel sheet.
  • Explaining the consent form to patients who are eligible for the study.
  • Retrieve medical data from the EMR system

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrate proficiency in English with exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Communicate with patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone
  • Understand the importance of patient confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with efficiency and accuracy
  • Passionate about participating in clinical and medical research
  • Understanding medical terminology
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
