This is a customer-facing role. While you'll be teaching art, your primary responsibility is creating an outstanding experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

No fine arts degree or professional art experience is required—we'll teach you our projects. What matters most is that you enjoy working with people, love learning new things, and bring positive energy to every shift.

For both positions:

  • Saturday and Sunday availability is required
  • Weekday evening availability is required (at least 1 weekday for part time)
  • Full availability during school breaks, including summer camps, winter break camps, and spring break camps

Starting Wage

  • Have excellent customer service skills and genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome
  • Are outgoing, friendly, and confident speaking with guests
  • Are dependable, professional, and take pride in your work
  • Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy keeping beautiful spaces clean, organized, and inviting
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Love learning new artistic techniques
  • Can confidently lead a group through a fun, engaging activity

What You'll Do

  • Lead birthday parties and seasonal camps
  • Welcome guests and provide an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
  • Prepare materials before classes and reset the studio afterward
  • Keep the studio clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day
  • Assist with glazing, artwork pickup, and other studio operations
  • Help create the warm, creative atmosphere that makes 4Cats special

Perks

  • 40% staff discount on retail items after 4 weeks
  • Paid training in our teaching methods and projects
  • Learn pottery, clay, painting, and other artistic techniques
  • Opportunities for advancement—many of our Studio Coordinators, Studio Directors, and Home Office team members started as Art Instructors
  • A supportive, creative team that loves making art accessible and fun
  • A beautiful, inspiring workplace where no two days are the same

If you're someone who loves working with people, enjoys being part of a creative team, and wants to make every guest's visit memorable, we'd love to hear from you!
