Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. This role involves performing tire repairs, replacements, and maintenance for commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and efficiency on the road. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with automotive repair, and excellent customer service skills. This position offers opportunities for growth within a dynamic environment dedicated to quality service and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and replace tires on commercial vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on tires and related components
  • Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot tire issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Lift heavy tires and equipment safely, adhering to safety protocols
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
  • Assist in sales activities by recommending suitable tire products and services to customers
  • Conduct safety checks to identify potential hazards around the work area

Experience

  • Dealership experience or mechanic background is highly desirable
  • Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is essential
  • Experience with hand tools, power tools, and tire-changing equipment preferred
  • Prior customer service experience is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Familiarity with automotive sales or product recommendations is beneficial

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
