Job Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Restaurant Host/Hostess, where you’ll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your enthusiasm, past proven experience, and professionalism will create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests from the moment they arrive. You’ll manage reservations, greet guests with genuine hospitality, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your excellent communication skills and passion for guest service in a dynamic restaurant environment. Your positive energy will be instrumental in creating memorable moments for our guests. Knowledge of Libro or similar reservation software platform mandatory.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and valued from the first moment. Every guest is considered a VIP.
  • Manage reservation bookings and waitlist management efficiently using Libro.
  • Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings.
  • Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas to uphold a welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction.

Experience

  • Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including Libro.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and courteously.
  • Prior experience in serving or hospitality roles that demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of restaurant procedures and experience working in fast-paced settings is advantageous.
  • Hotel or customer service experience can be a plus, highlighting your ability to adapt to diverse guest needs.
  • Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and positive throughout busy shifts is essential for success in this role.
