Pentâge Winery – Penticton, BC
Seasonal Harvest Position | Sept–October 2026

Pentâge Winery is a family-owned, boutique winery located on the Skaha Bench in Penticton. We are looking for a Harvest Cellar Hand / Assistant to join our winemaking team during the busy harvest season.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is interested in winemaking and enjoys working as part of a small, dedicated team. Previous winery or harvest experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with grape receiving, sorting, crushing and pressing
  • Assist with pump-overs, punch-downs, transfers and fermentation monitoring
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, barrels and cellar equipment
  • Assist with barrel work, racking, topping and other cellar tasks
  • Help monitor fermentations and collect samples for basic lab work
  • Operate and maintain cellar equipment safely
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

  • An interest in wine and a willingness to learn
  • Previous harvest or winery experience is an asset
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in varying temperatures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and longer hours during peak harvest
  • Forklift experience is an asset, but training can be provided
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a valid work permit/visa, where applicable

What We Offer

  • $20–$26 per hour, depending on experience
