Overview
FOH Staff welcome guests, support smooth front-of-house service, and help create a clean, organized dining experience. The role combines attentive customer service with accurate order processing, food handling, and coordination with kitchen colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests, answer questions, take orders, and provide friendly service throughout their visit.
- Use POS systems, including Micros POS where applicable, to process orders and payments, handle cash, and complete basic math accurately.
- Serve and prepare food as needed, follow food safety and sanitation practices, and keep guest and service areas clean.
- Manage time across changing service needs, communicate orders clearly, and offer relevant menu suggestions through thoughtful upselling.
Your impact: Clear communication and accurate orders help guests enjoy a smooth visit and enable kitchen colleagues to prepare service efficiently.
Experience
Required: Bring customer service, basic math, time management, and careful food handling skills to daily service. Follow food safety and sanitation practices while serving, cashiering, and supporting food preparation. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, kitchen, hospitality, or guest services experience; familiarity with POS or Micros POS, cash handling, and upselling is an advantage.
