Server / Takeout Coordinator – Bloom Vietnamese Bistro

About Us

Golden Bell is a growing Vietnamese restaurant known for its fresh flavours, vibrant atmosphere, and friendly service. We’re looking for an organized and motivated Server / Takeout Coordinator to join our team. This role combines dine-in service with managing high-volume takeout orders — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Job Overview

As a Server / Takeout Coordinator, you’ll provide excellent service to dine-in guests while coordinating and packaging takeout and delivery orders through Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash. You’ll act as the connection between the kitchen and the front of house, ensuring every order — dine-in or to-go — is accurate, timely, and well-presented.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve dine-in customers with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage and pack high-volume takeout and delivery orders accurately and efficiently
  • Operate the Clover POS system for orders and payments
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow
  • Handle online orders from Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash
  • Maintain organization at the expo and takeout stations
  • Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
  • Upsell or recommend menu items to enhance the dining experience
  • Take initiative to improve workflow and support teammates during peak hours

Qualifications

  • Valid ProServe certification required
  • Proficient in English to assist customers with an extensive menu
  • Previous experience in restaurant service or takeout coordination required
  • Experience using Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes, and DoorDash is mandatory
  • Familiarity with Clover POS is an asset
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude, initiative, and teamwork mindset
