We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Junior Sales Representative specializing in Restaurant Technology to join our team in Richmond and Vancouver, British Columbia. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and promoting innovative technology solutions tailored for the restaurant industry.

You’ll be meeting restaurant owners in their restaurants, building trust face to face, and helping them take back the orders and margins they’re losing to third-party apps. Richmond and Vancouver have one of the most diverse restaurant scenes in Canada, and the ability to connect with owners in their own language — Mandarin, Cantonese or Vietnamese — is a real advantage in this role. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is hungry to learn and comfortable knocking on doors. We’ll provide the training and mentorship; you bring the drive.

Duties

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach, door-to-door visits and networking within the Richmond and Vancouver restaurant community
• Present and demonstrate restaurant technology products and services to prospective clients
• Develop customized proposals and negotiate contracts to secure sales agreements
• Manage existing client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase brand awareness and lead generation, including community-language marketing
• Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging needs
• Utilize HubSpot or similar CRM tools to track sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions
• Provide technical guidance and support during the sales process, ensuring clients understand product benefits and features
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to identify additional needs and upsell opportunities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new restaurants and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sales experience preferred (outside sales, B2B, retail, hospitality or restaurant experience all count)
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, and a willingness to be coached
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, hospitality industry standards, or related fields is advantageous
• Experience with HubSpot or other CRM platforms is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on building lasting client relationships
• Self-motivated, proactive, with a passion for technology sales and business growth
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (this is a field sales role covering Richmond, Vancouver and surrounding Metro Vancouver areas)
• Familiarity with the Richmond and Vancouver restaurant scene is a strong asset
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) or Vietnamese in addition to English is a strong asset, given the communities we serve in Richmond and Vancouver — it is not a requirement. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds.

Pay: $45,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
