Job Title: Server – OX Korean BBQ

Location: Victoria, BC

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Salary: Competitive hourly wage + tips

About Us:
OX Korean BBQ is a new, modern Korean BBQ restaurant opening in February 2026 in Victoria. We focus on high-quality ingredients, delicious marinades, and the interactive experience of table-top grilling. We’re looking for enthusiastic servers who already know Korean cuisine or are eager to learn, and who can provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders
  • Explain menu items, Korean dishes, and table-top grilling techniques
  • Recommend dishes and drinks based on guest preferences
  • Ensure timely and professional service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
  • Contribute to a positive and fun team environment

Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant or serving experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Korean cuisine is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to Speak Korean or Mandarin preferred
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
