Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing trauma-informed care and emotional/practical support.

* Facilitating healing circles, weekly luncheons, and community gatherings.

* Leading cultural activities such as drum making, smudging, and sacred fires.

* Supporting awareness walks and community activities on awareness days.

* Providing dedicated daily service hours for families impacted by MMIWG.

The Details:

* Term: Full-time (35 hrs/wk), 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily.

* Salary: $24/hr.

* Location: 1188 Main Street, Smithers, BC.

* Benefits: Training provided (Food Safe, Trauma-Informed Cert, First Aid, etc.) and RRSP available.

Requirements:

High School Diploma, AFOT & Complex Trauma Certificate, experience working with Indigenous families, Crisis Intervention training, valid Driver’s Licence, and First Aid certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
