We are a thriving, privately owned veterinary dermatology practice with four locations and have welcomed two new doctors to our Vancouver clinic! At NWVDS you'll play an essential role in delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients. To support our new doctors, we are seeking multiple staff to join our collaborative and compassionate team.

We are seeking a Lead Registered Veterinary Technologist and a Veterinary Assistant.

Lead Registered Veterinary Technologist:

Professional Growth & Development

Required Qualifications

  • Preparing and administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Collecting and preparing laboratory samples
  • Assisting with diagnostic and medical procedures
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Strong technical skills, including blood collection, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring
  • Admitting and discharging patients
  • Providing client education and home-care instructions
  • Graduate of an accredited Animal Health or Veterinary Technology program
  • Successful completion of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE)
  • Current registration as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) or Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
  • Previous experience as an RVT is an asset, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply

Veterinary Assistant:

Required Qualifications

  • Preparing and administering medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Preparing laboratory samples
  • Blood collection skills
  • Assisting with diagnostic and medical procedures
  • Admitting and discharging patients
  • Providing client education and home-care instructions
  • Veterinary Medical Assistant certificate or previous experience required, new grads are welcome

Pay: $22.00-$38.00 per hour
