Veterinary Hospital Inventory and Facilities Coordinator

Location: Calgary, AB

Western Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Centre is looking for a hospital inventory and facilities coordinator. We are a 24 hours state of the art facility with specialty services such as Critical Care, Radiology, Surgery, Cardiology, Radiation, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.

The inventory and facilities coordinator will work closely with our entire hospital, as well as be the face of Western to our suppliers and outside brand representatives. The following list entails the duties and responsibilities of our inventory coordinator. As facilities coordinator, this position is also responsible for all building maintenance and repairs.

  • Ordering and receiving stock/orders from our various suppliers

  • Special Ordering for in-hospital products (new/different items)

  • Client orders and communications

  • Check and authorize Hill's VIP Market

  • Invoice staff orders

  • Update the weekly update with back-order products, etc.

  • Check for expired products in the pharmacy & stockroom

  • Expired product returns
