FC Live Platform Quality Verification is searching for the next game product expert to drive critical activities that support creating an optimal player experience and will be a key point of contact for decision-making from our stakeholders across production and development teams. The EA Sports FC Player Experience Analyst will report to the Development Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Create data-driven insights, reports and presentations to showcase trends and players' sentiment

  • Help promote game and experiential quality across FC by applying “the voice of the player"

  • Be an advocate of “the voice of the player” by creating a bridge between FC Live Platform Quality Verification and our partners

  • Promote improvements across functional quality; with a main focus on experiential quality

  • Monitor internal communication channels, public discussion forums, and social media platforms to help identify player-affecting issues and collect players' feedback

  • Coordinate with Production to prioritize recurring player feedback effectively

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience in Quality Assurance

  • 4+ years of experience with testing and defect tracking software, preferably Jira

  • 4+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies

  • Synthesize community feedback and player sentiment into clear, relevant insights that can be discussed with producers and Live Operations partners to improve the player experience

  • 2+ years of experience writing reports and providing updates to stakeholders

  • Knowledge of gaming consoles and their systems

  • Experience using collaboration tools, preferably Confluence, Miro, and Slack

  • Experience working across different time zones and international teams

  • Understanding of football tactics and in-game strategies.

  • A genuine love for football as a fan, player, referee, gamer, or coach.

Pay Transparency - North America
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$77,700 - $107,900 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
