Avtar Dhillon, Jagtar Dhillon, Ramsar Berry Farm is hiring 4 General Farm Labourers to join our team in Abbotsford, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position. No experience is needed because we will train you on the job. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to Canada looking for steady, full-time outdoor work.

JOB DETAILS

• Wage: $18.25 per hour
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Early morning and morning
• Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Work location: On site in Abbotsford, BC (no remote work)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Weed fields and tie and secure plants
• Harvest crops, including hand harvesting vegetables and cutting agricultural crops
• Sort and pack fruits and vegetables
• Mix and apply fertilizers, and fertilize and spray crops
• Clear fields of wood, stones, brush and debris
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment

REQUIREMENTS

• No experience required (training provided)
• No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Able to communicate in English
• Able to do physical work outdoors, including lifting, bending and standing for long periods
• Reliable, willing to learn and able to work as part of a team
