Full job description

Greenhouse Team Members take pride in delivering the highest quality tomato, pepper and cucumber seedlings for greenhouse vegetable producers across North America.

Job requirements: Must be physically fit. Must be a team player. Must be available to work as needed. A displayed commitment to quality is required.

This position requires heavy lifting, repetitive tasks requiring force, long periods of standing, bending, crouching, kneeling and sitting on low trolley carts.

The greenhouse is a hot and humid work setting.

Duties May Include: Machine Seeding, Hand Seeding, Transplanting, Moving Trays, Applying Vermiculite, Laying down Rockwool Blocks, Applying Biological Applications, Applying Elastics / Clips to plants, Applying Sticks, Suckering, Pinching, Deleafing, Selecting Seedlings for Grafting, Grafting, Spacing out plants, Grading Seedlings, Traying for Shipments, Lifting Trays onto Steel Carts, Watering Blocks or Trays.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
