Position Title: Guest Service (Restaurant Server)

Reports To: Lodge Manager

Location: Bella Coola Heli Sports lodges, Remote (shift work)

Schedule: 15 days on, 13 or 6 days off (approximately), 10hrs/ a day

Terms: Seasonal Full-Time (December-April)

Bella Coola Heli Sports operates in the glaciated wilderness of BC’s central coast. We provide world-class skiing in the winter, and connect our guests with incredible wilderness adventures in the summer. We operate from three remote properties, one of which is in the Tatla Lake region of the Chilcotin’s and two which are in the Bella Coola Valley. We boast the largest heli-skiing tenure of any operator in the world and our Himalayan like mountains draw outdoor enthusiasts from around the world.

Job Description

Our Guest Service team is highly collaborative and hands-on, assisting with restaurant service, hosting, housekeeping, and supporting all aspects of daily lodge operations. Responsibilities:

Guest Experience

• Provide warm, approachable, and professional guest service throughout every interaction.
• Anticipate guest needs and consistently go above and beyond to exceed expectations.
• Create genuine connections with guests while maintaining a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
• Support a seamless guest experience from arrival through departure.

Dining Service & Lodge Hospitality

• Set up, serve, and clean up after all meal services, après gatherings, and special events.
• Participate in daily pre-service meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of menus, dietary requirements, beverage offerings, and guest preferences.
• Coordinate meal service with attention to timing, presentation, and creating a welcoming dining experience.
• Support hosting duties and contribute to an exceptional atmosphere throughout the lodge.

Lodge Presentation & Facility Upkeep

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout guest rooms, common areas, dining spaces, and service areas.
• Support laundry operations, including guest linens, staff laundry, restaurant linens, towels, and restocking supplies.
• Ensure the lodge consistently reflects the high standards expected of a luxury heli-ski operation.
• Perform housekeeping duties if needed, including guest rooms, washrooms, and shared spaces.

Operational Support & Team Collaboration

• Work as part of a cohesive team by communicating effectively, offering assistance, and sharing responsibilities across departments.
• Follow daily schedules with flexibility, recognizing that roles often overlap in a small, dynamic lodge environment.
• Adapt quickly to changing operational needs while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Uphold Bella Coola Heli Sports' commitment to safety, teamwork, and exceptional guest experiences in every aspect of your work.

Qualifications required:

• 2+ years of F&B serving experience plus additional experience in other hospitality outlets (housekeeping, concierge, guest services, or similar).
• WSET 1 or equivalent wine knowledge.
• Professional, articulate, and personable demeanor.
• Highly motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work away from home and spend long hours on your feet.
• Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
• Experience in a remote lodge, luxury hospitality, adventure tourism, or heli-skiing environment.

Pay: $230.00 per day
