iScope Concussion & Pain Clinics is a growing multidisciplinary healthcare organization dedicated to helping patients recover from concussion, chronic pain, motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, and other complex conditions.

We're looking for an organized, compassionate, and customer-focused Medical Office Assistant to join our North Vancouver clinic. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience while keeping our busy clinic running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
  • Schedule appointments for physicians and allied health professionals
  • Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries
  • Manage electronic medical records and patient documentation
  • Coordinate referrals and communicate with healthcare providers, insurers, legal offices, and third-party payers
  • Process patient payments and assist with billing inquiries
  • Support ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and extended health administrative processes
  • Maintain clinic supplies and assist with day-to-day clinic operations
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Medical Office Assistant Certificate or Diploma (or equivalent healthcare administrative experience)
  • Minimum one year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic
  • Experience with InputHealth/CHR or other EMRs
  • Knowledge of ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and extended health insurance processes
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
