About the Position

I Care Beauty Clinic is looking for a motivated, reliable, hardworking, and professional Entry-Level Medical Aesthetics Clinic Assistant to join our team in North Vancouver.

No previous medical aesthetics experience, education, or certification is required.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who is genuinely interested in starting a career in the medical aesthetics industry and is willing to learn, take direction, work as part of a team, and develop their skills over time.

We provide fully paid, on-the-job training from your first day, beginning with laser hair removal.

Training is provided through I Care Advanced Aesthetics Academy while the employee gains supervised practical experience within the clinic.

100% Paid Training

All training hours are paid at the regular rate of $20.00 per hour.

There is no unpaid or reduced-pay training period. Employees are paid from their first day of training.

Training begins with laser hair removal and includes supervised practical education focused on safety, treatment protocols, client care, equipment operation, and competency development.

Employees who successfully complete the required 6-month training program and meet the Academy's knowledge, practical, safety, and competency standards will receive a certificate from I Care Advanced Aesthetics Academy.

Additional aesthetic treatment training and increased responsibilities may be offered based on performance, competency, reliability, professionalism, and clinic needs.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on, entry-level clinic position. The successful candidate must be comfortable participating in all aspects of appropriate day-to-day clinic operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete paid on-the-job training, beginning with laser hair removal
• Perform assigned treatments only after completing the required training and demonstrating competency
• Assist practitioners with treatments and clinic duties when required
• Prepare treatment rooms before clients
• Clean, disinfect, organize, and reset treatment rooms after each client
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization throughout the clinic
• Assist with general clinic cleaning throughout the working day
• Complete laundry and maintain clean linens and supplies
• Restock treatment rooms and clinic supplies
• Clean and prepare equipment according to clinic procedures
• Welcome clients and provide friendly, respectful, and professional customer service
• Assist with reception and general clinic operations when required
• Support practitioners and other team members as needed
• Follow clinic policies, treatment protocols, infection-control procedures, and safety requirements
• Help maintain a professional, organized, clean, and positive clinic environment
• Perform other reasonable clinic duties as assigned

Please note that cleaning, room preparation, laundry, practitioner assistance, and general clinic support are essential parts of this position.

Requirements

• No previous experience required
• No previous medical aesthetics certification required
• No previous laser hair removal experience required
• Strong willingness to learn and successfully complete the required training

• Comfortable performing cleaning and general clinic-support duties

• Willing to assist practitioners and other team members as needed
• Genuine interest in developing a career in the medical aesthetics industry
• Must be consistently available both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Training & Certification

Training is provided through I Care Advanced Aesthetics Academy and begins with laser hair removal.

The training pathway combines supervised practical education with experience in day-to-day clinic operations.

After successfully completing the required 6-month training program and meeting all required knowledge, practical, safety, and competency standards, the employee will receive a certificate issued by I Care Advanced Aesthetics Academy.

Completion of six months alone does not automatically guarantee certification. All required training and competency standards must also be successfully completed.

Additional aesthetic treatment training may be offered based on performance, competency, reliability, professionalism, and the needs of the clinic.

Compensation

• $20.00 per hour
• All training hours paid at $20.00 per hour
• Paid from the first day of training
• No unpaid training period
• No reduced training wage
• 50% of eligible tips, subject to clinic policy

Probationary Period

This position includes a 3-month probationary period, fully paid at the regular $20.00 hourly rate, including training hours.

Continued employment and opportunities for additional responsibilities will depend on factors including attendance, punctuality, reliability, professionalism, work performance, cleanliness, client service, teamwork, compliance with clinic policies and safety procedures, training progress, and demonstrated competency.
