Full job description

Kissa Tanto, a one-Michelin-starred Italian-Japanese fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Vancouver's Chinatown, is looking for a few passionate and dedicated cooks.

We are looking for eager cooks with experience who are serious about food and drink. Employment is full-time, with wages starting at $220/day + gratuities. Our shifts are from 12pm to close. Experience with fine dining is an asset.
Requirements:
3 years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen
English language proficiency
Accurate and efficient in executing assigned tasks
Good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Food Safe Certificate
Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts is desirable
Available to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and complete food preparation items from the menu
Cook menu items during service efficiently and to the standards of the executive chef
Maintain an organized work environment
Uphold sanitation and safety standards
Report to and follow instructions as given by the executive or sous chefs
Have a positive and professional manner when dealing with co-workers and customers
