Position Overview:

Crew Member:

Assisting foreperson in daily activities performing hands-on maintenance tasks within a crew demonstrate a positive, courteous and polite attitude with co-workers and with clients.

Foreperson:

Perform hands on season maintenance tasks along the crew as needed. Ensure team adherence to safety protocols, quality standards and productivity goals. Support crew training and motivation to uphold company excellence. Demonstrate a positive, courteous and polite attitude with coworkers and with clients communicate effectively with crew members, clients and office staff.

Qualifications

Crew Members:

If you are just starting a career or seeking a career change to the landscape industry and don’t have specific experience, as long as you are able to do the following this position just might be right for you-

  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and support crew leadership
  • Strong enthusiastic team work attitude and take pride in the you do
  • Friendly, polite, courteous and approachable
  • Valid G. Driver’s License an asset
  • Comfortable participating in outdoor seasonal work

Crew Foreperson

  • Valid G Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract
  • Knowledge of equipment operation
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, provide crew with leadership, follow and enforce safety protocols
  • Strong team work attitude and take pride in the work you do
  • Friendly, polite, courteous, and approachable
  • Solid horticultural knowledge, including basic plant identification and care an asset
  • Compliance with company safety, quality standards

Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly estimated pay range: $23-$30+, depending on experience and subject to position applying
  • Full-time position
  • Typical work hours: 7am-5.30pm during peak season, variations may apply
