Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems. This role is vital to maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports the overall success of our organization. The Maintenance Worker will perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of our assets.

Duties

  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify issues or potential hazards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC servicing, and carpentry work.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment or facilities, implementing effective solutions promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
  • Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or services when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment or fixtures as required.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe for all personnel.

Skills

  • Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC systems, and carpentry.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members and vendors.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks regularly.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses (such as HVAC certification or electrician license) are a plus but not mandatory.

This Maintenance Worker position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the safety and functionality of our facilities while developing your skills within a supportive team environment.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
