Full job description

Full-Time Shuttle Driver (Class 2) – Victoria, BC

Canadian Craft Tours & Charters

We are hiring experienced Class 2 drivers for full-time shuttle operations in Victoria.

This role is best suited to drivers coming from transit, motorcoach, or tour environments who are used to structured routes, time-sensitive service, and operating with minimal supervision.

If you take pride in running on time, keeping passengers comfortable, and working within a professional operation, you’ll fit in well here.

Schedule (7-Day Operation)

Full-time roles are available on one of the following shifts:

  • Early Morning: 05:00 – 12:30
  • Night: 20:00 – 01:00
  • 5 days per week (set schedule)
  • Weekend availability required
  • Additional charter work available based on performance

The Role

  • Operate shuttle vehicles on fixed routes with strict timing expectations
  • Work independently while staying aligned with dispatch
  • Deliver a smooth, predictable passenger experience
  • Manage real-time adjustments (traffic, delays, passenger flow)
  • Complete ridership tracking and shift logs using company systems

Ideal Background

We are specifically looking for drivers with experience such as:

  • Transit bus driver
  • Motorcoach / highway coach operator
  • Tour driver (multi-stop or scheduled programs)
  • Employee or crew shuttle operations

You should be comfortable with:

  • Running on schedule without constant oversight
  • Managing passengers professionally in a variety of situations
  • Adjusting on the fly while maintaining service standards

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 BC driver’s license (air brakes not required)
  • Clean driver’s abstract (max 2 incidents/tickets in past 36 months)
  • Strong attendance and reliability record
  • Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for tracking and communication
  • Professional, composed, and team-oriented

Expectations

  • Schedules are set 2 weeks in advance
  • Assigned shifts are expected to be worked
  • This is a full-time, consistency-driven role—not casual or on-call

Drivers who are reliable and perform well will be prioritized for additional hours and higher-value work.

Compensation

  • $25.00/hour + 4% vacation pay
  • Up to 5 paid sick days/year (after 30 days)
  • Consistent, predictable full-time hours
  • Additional earning opportunities through charter work

Why Drivers From Transit/Tour Companies Like This Role

  • Stable schedule without split shifts
  • Smaller vehicles and less passenger volume
  • Organized dispatch with clear expectations
  • Opportunity to step out of large-system environments into a tighter, more responsive team

How to Apply

Send your resume along with:

  • Your preferred shift (morning or night)
  • A brief summary of your driving background (transit, coach, tour, etc.)

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 50 per week

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Company events
  • Extended health care
  • On-site parking
  • Paid time off
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Wellness program

  • Victoria, BC V8V 1A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
