SALES ASSOCIATE PT

We are looking for a part-time Sales Associate in our Urban Trail store at the in Prairie Mall Shopping Centre Grande Prairie to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, fun and professional work environment! The ideal candidate must have weekend/weekday/days/evening availability. If you are reliable and excited about your work, this is the job for you!

This is a retail, customer-facing sales position that requires outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with customers, vendors, team members and colleagues.

What you bring:

· A positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Proven experience as a collaborative and respectful team player

· Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment

· Commitment to consistently uphold our 3 Non-Negotiable Customer Service and Sales Standards

· Willingness to learn new skills and share laughs when appropriate (always!)

· Ability to work weekends, weekdays and evenings

· Experience working in a sales driven environment is an asset

· Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills

· Strong computer skills

· Experience with POS systems would be an asset

· Communication attributes:

o English proficiency is essential for job-related tasks which include but are not limited to engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide them with personalized recommendations; supporting fellow team members; telephone communication; and receiving/sending stock and deliveries

o Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members, while exhibiting active listening skills to ensure excellent service

o Experience understanding and interpreting written materials, company policies, and operational guidelines

o While English is required for work‑related communication, team members are welcome to use any language they prefer during breaks or personal conversations

o Communication in another language to assist customers who speak that language is considered an asset.
