Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Specialist – Subcontractor


Miraculous Maids

Miraculous Maids is looking for an experienced Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Specialist to join our team.

This role is 100% focused on carpet and upholstery cleaning. We’re looking for someone with professional experience who can work independently, provide great service to our customers, and consistently deliver quality results.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing professional carpet and upholstery cleaning services for residential customers
  • Using hot water extraction and steam-cleaning methods to clean carpets, upholstery, and other applicable surfaces
  • Assessing surfaces and determining the appropriate cleaning approach
  • Treating stains, high-traffic areas, and other problem areas
  • Setting up, operating, cleaning, and maintaining professional cleaning equipment
  • Taking care to protect customers’ homes, furniture, flooring, and belongings while working
  • Keeping your work area clean and tidy
  • Communicating professionally and respectfully with customers
  • Completing jobs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality


What We’re Looking For

  • Professional carpet and upholstery cleaning experience is required
  • Professional truck-mounted carpet cleaning system (hot water extraction/HWE) is required
  • Professional portable carpet extractor is required for residences above 3 storeys
  • Residential carpet and upholstery cleaning experience is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Friendly and professional with customers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation


As a Subcontractor

This is a subcontractor opportunity, so you will be responsible for providing your own:

  • Professional truck-mounted carpet cleaning system (hot water extraction/HWE)
  • Professional portable carpet extractor
  • Vehicle and transportation
  • Business registration and insurance, as applicable
  • Any other tools and equipment required to complete the work


Compensation

This is a per-job subcontractor position. Pay will vary based on the size, scope, and requirements of each job.

I prefer the second version for Miraculous Maids. It makes it very clear that there isn't an hourly rate and that each job may pay differently.
