Medical Radiation Technologist — Saskatoon Interventional Pain Centre

The Saskatoon Interventional Pain Centre is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) to join our team. We specialize in fluoroscopically guided procedures that relieve chronic spine and joint pain. Ours is a fast-paced procedural environment where a high volume of cases runs each day, and our team of chronic pain specialists is looking for an organized, adaptable MRT to help us deliver exceptional care.

Job Type

  • Part-time, casual

Compensation

  • Competitive wage, commensurate with experience, starting at $40/hr

Responsibilities

  • Position patients accurately for fluoroscopically guided procedures
  • Operate the mobile C-arm to obtain the imaging views required for each procedure (training will be provided)
  • Upload and archive images to the PACS server
  • Prepare imaging equipment, medical instruments, and medications as directed
  • Ensure QA/QI processes are followed
  • Maintain radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self

Schedule

  • Shifts scheduled within clinic hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00–15:30, and Friday, 07:00–12:30

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology
  • Certification and registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT)
  • Comfort working with a mobile C-arm. Prior fluoroscopy experience is an asset, but not required, all training on our equipment and procedures will be provided
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
