Full job description

Edmonton Cardiology Consultants is currently seeking a full time permanent clinical assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting, the ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent priority setting and judgment skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Support physicians in clinic - escorting patients to exam rooms, review medication lists, complete ECG's and perform blood pressures on patient.
  • Prepare patients for MPI and EST exams
  • Cleaning exam rooms
  • Preparing and stocking exam rooms
  • Hook up and removal of ambulatory blood pressure monitors and holter monitors
  • Clerical duties
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience in a medical/clinic setting required
  • Experience with Healthquest EMR an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
