Totran Transportation Services Ltd. is an independently owned and operated Canadian heavy haul trucking company operating across North America from our offices in Calgary, Alberta and Conroe, Texas.

Since our beginnings in 2006, we have aspired to be a center of excellence in transportation and are answering niche customer needs for the movement of project cargo for all different types of industries that require heavy haul transport.

We are seeking a full time Order Audit Clerk to join our Calgary, Alberta team.

***Please note, this is not a financial / accounting audit position***

Position Summary:

Candidate would be a liaison between Operations teams and Invoicing teams. Auditing completed orders to ensure all job costs / expenses are captured, potential detention on orders is captured and billed out correctly and processes are followed in order to support the effective closing and invoicing of orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create client orders when requested, ensuring accuracy and that complete information is provided.
  • Audit and Complete orders for invoicing.
  • Prepare and document communication for both internal and external distribution.
  • Create detention orders and provide details to clients when required.
  • Submit data on external client systems accurately and within tight timelines.
  • Manage Order reports for month end accuracy and timely completion.
  • Research and troubleshoot issues that arise with clients, the operations team and/or the accounting team.
  • Coordinate with Management, CEO and President and provide updates on process.
  • Manage filing.
  • All other duties / requests from senior management

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an administrator or relevant equivalent
  • Must be computer literate
  • Good skill level of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Works well under pressure and within tight deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
