Restaurant Floor Manager

Paris Paris Wine Bar & Restaurant | Toronto, ON

Job Overview

Paris Paris is seeking an experienced Restaurant Floor Manager to join our leadership team.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations, leading service, supporting and developing our team, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional hospitality. We're looking for someone who leads by example, communicates effectively, stays composed under pressure, and is passionate about building a positive team culture.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily front-of-house operations and oversee service from open to close
  • Ensure smooth dining room operations, table flow, and service execution
  • Coach, mentor, and support servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily service priorities
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and professionally resolve guest concerns
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development
  • Assist with scheduling, labour management, and shift planning
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, organization, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Complete opening and closing manager duties, cash reconciliation, and daily administrative reporting
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar leadership to deliver seamless service

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant leadership experience in a full-service environment
  • Strong knowledge of front-of-house operations and hospitality standards
  • Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a high-volume environment
  • Experience with labour management, scheduling, and restaurant operations
  • Experience using restaurant POS systems (Toast is an asset)
  • Smart Serve Certification required
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
