What is Nisa Homes?
Working from a holistic, culturally, and religiously responsive approach, Nisa Homes provides residents with a safe transitional shelter for healing. Our staff provide assistance with the goal of helping residents attain long-term independence and self-sufficiency
What you’ll do:
Coordinating In-Home Volunteers:
- Welcome and coordinate volunteers for in-home assistance.
- Schedule, train and supervise volunteers to ensure coverage and support for residents.
Maintenance and Upkeep of the Facility:
- Oversee routine maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the facility.
Donations and Inventory:
- Manage incoming donations and maintain an organized inventory system.
- Coordinate with the community for additional donations as needed.
Contractors:
- Liaise with contractors for necessary repairs and renovations.
- Ensure timely completion of contracted services.
Grants:
- Research and apply for grants to support the facility's operations.
- Maintain documentation and reporting requirements for grant compliance.
Finance:
- Manage financial transactions and expenses.
- Track receipts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Mailbox and P.O. Box:
- Collect and manage mail.
- Monitor the P.O. Box for important communications.
Community Connections:
- Establish and maintain relationships with the community for donations and client-related needs.
- Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to support facility initiatives.
Emergencies (After Hours/Weekends):
- Respond to emergency calls and messages from residents and clients during after-hours and weekends.
- Take appropriate actions to handle emergency situations.
NH Cellphone, Credit Card and ZOHO:
- Manage and carry the NH cellphone and credit card.
- Approve requests for credit card usage and track expenses.
- Use ZOHO for receipts tracking and upload.
- Submit monthly reports as required.
Uber Rides:
- Order rides through the Uber Business app for residents.
- Save and upload receipts for reimbursement.
Resident Move-Ins and Move-Outs:
- Coordinate the logistics of resident move-ins and move-outs alongside the caseworkers.
- Prepare and get welcome baskets and move-out Hope boxes.
- Organize donation drives and community connections for the items that go into these baskets and boxes
Coordination with Shelter Movers:
- Collaborate with Shelter Movers as applicable for resident relocations. (region specific)
City Email Address:
- Monitor the city email inbox to respond to donor and community related emails promptly.

What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in facility coordination or similar roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and applications
