Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cabinet Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering cabinets and related products to customers efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, commercial driving, and heavy lifting, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, communication, and professionalism are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport cabinets to various locations.
  • Load and unload cabinets using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high customer service standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues.
  • Assist with warehouse organization, moving inventory as needed to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Follow safety protocols at all times during loading, transportation, and unloading processes.

Skills

  • Experience in moving heavy items safely and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to handle heavy lifting regularly during loading and unloading tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
  • Warehouse experience is preferred, including knowledge of inventory handling.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent is required for driving responsibilities.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries.
