Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator specializing in stone countertops and cabinets to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality custom stone products. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy equipment, and familiarity with manufacturing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with construction, warehouse, or machining backgrounds to apply their skills in a dynamic environment focused on precision craftsmanship and efficient production.

Duties

  • Operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish stone countertops and cabinet components with precision according to specifications.
  • Set up and calibrate machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other machinery as needed for assembly or finishing tasks.
  • Assist in material handling using forklifts or heavy equipment to move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse or production area.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

  • Prior experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to machining, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools is highly desirable.
  • Experience with forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, or construction work will be considered an asset.
  • Background in manufacturing or warehouse environments demonstrating familiarity with power tools and industrial equipment is advantageous.
  • Candidates with construction experience or skills in machining and assembly are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow technical instructions are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.27-$31.98 per hour
