Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of food safety, and delivering outstanding customer service. Your leadership will inspire your team to work efficiently, creatively, and collaboratively to create memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage daily staffing schedules, supervise kitchen staff, and foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain health regulations and cleanliness.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Train new team members through interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing development to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly.

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience within the food service or restaurant industry.
  • Extensive food industry knowledge with hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • Strong background in restaurant management including kitchen operations, team management, and customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for efficient order processing.
  • Experience in food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and maintaining health standards.
  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous; barista experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to interview candidates, manage staff schedules, and motivate teams effectively.
