Job Summary
Prepare and cook menu items in a restaurant kitchen, following established recipes and food safety practices. This hands-on role supports smooth meal preparation and timely service, helping guests enjoy consistent, well-prepared food.
Duties
- Prepare ingredients and meals using appropriate cooking methods, keeping work areas and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow food handling and food safety practices throughout preparation, cooking, and service.
- Coordinate with kitchen colleagues to manage orders, maintain an efficient workflow, and support timely serving.
- Monitor prepared items for quality and communicate supply or workflow concerns to the team.
Skills
Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, and food handling skills, with care for food safety, cleanliness, and consistent service. Ability to coordinate tasks and communicate clearly supports an organized kitchen and dependable meal service. Your impact: Well-prepared dishes and timely coordination help colleagues serve guests smoothly.
Preferred: Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or food industry experience is helpful, along with familiarity with serving and working collaboratively during busy service periods.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
