Full job description
Job Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable Bus Cleaners to support TTC transit operations during the FIFA 2026 events in Toronto. This is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of TTC buses throughout the day to ensure a safe and positive experience for passengers.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize bus interiors
- Wipe down seats, handrails, driver areas, and touchpoints
- Clean windows, ledges, panels, and other interior surfaces
- Remove garbage and debris
- Spot clean spills and stains as required
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced transit environment
Requirements
- CSA-approved safety shoes/boots required
- High-visibility safety vest required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Ability to work 11–12 hour shifts
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
