Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wood framing, and formwork with the ability to interpret blueprints accurately. This role involves working on residential, & commercial projects. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality building projects while developing your expertise in the construction industry.

Duties

  • Read and interpret blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
  • Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
  • Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as required for various projects
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are maintained on-site
  • Must be willing to travel for out of town jobs.
  • Perform Back framing, install joists, trusses, sheathing & blocking.
  • Able to work independently & in the team.

Experience

  • Proven experience in framing.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, and technical drawings is essential
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
  • Prior experience working on commercial construction sites is advantageous
  • Experience with prefab wall panels is considered an asset.

This position requires a dedicated professional with strong technical skills in carpentry and construction. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

This is a full-time position only.
