Job Summary

We are a well-established full service Fork Lift dealer looking to add to our service team of outstanding professionals! We currently have an opening for a road technician for our Langley branch, that will be servicing the Lower Mainland. As one of our mobile specialists you will enjoy the use of your own fully-stocked service vehicle and be supported by a fully stocked parts department, as well as complete dealership support including and up to date Manufacturer's training on the latest technology and product lines. Responsibilities and Duties

The successful applicant will be an integral part of our service team, maintaining and repairing a variety of customer machinery , as well as our own rental and sales equipment in the field. We specialize in both electric and IC forklifts but also work on dock plates, scissor lifts, man lifts, sweeper scrubbers and electric powered units of all kinds. The duties of this position will be varied and diverse, as you will be working on a variety of equipment that changes every day. We sell and service LPG, Diesel, gasoline and electric-powered forklifts so experience with these types of machines is preferred. We are also a leader in the growing lithium-ion lift truck market, and you will be fully trained in this emerging technology as we grow in this exciting new direction.

Qualifications and Skills

The ability to assess, diagnose and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to material handling equipment is required. Previous forklift experience is of course an asset, as well as familiarity with hydraulic systems and electronic troubleshooting. A keen mechanical aptitude and a passion for learning will be valuable skills to help you grow in this position, as well as the ability to represent our Company in a courteous and professional manner at all times.

You will be required to prepare legible work orders, communicate with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, order parts for service jobs , and you will work with dispatch to maximize your productivity on the road. A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour
