Legacy Equipment is seeking a motivated and reliable Outside Sales Representative for work in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer accounts

- Sourcing new account opportunities

- Closing sales

- Prepare quotes and proposals

- Cold calling, including visiting sites

- Ensures customers continue to have a high level of Customer Satisfaction

- Present the Organization's products and services

- Meets deadlines and exceeds targets

- Monitor and analyze ongoing rental sales activities against yearly targets

- Promote and ensure company Health, Safety & Environment policies and procedures are being followed

- Lead through example to promote safe work ethic, attitude and workplace

- Other tasks as required

Requirements

- Able to demonstrate a proven track record of setting sales goals and meeting or exceeding them

- Outstanding account management and customer service skills, with an ability to conduct yourself in a highly professional manner

- Ability to build rapport and trust quickly and honestly

- Effective conflict resolution skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing needs of the company

- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

- Must be able to work in extreme cold and heat and in inclement weather, as required

Travel within Edmonton and surrounding areas is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- 3+ years of experience in equipment rentals, construction, sales

- Experience with the full Microsoft Suite, experience with Point of Rental is considered an asset

- Customer orientated, personable, results driven

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract

- Flexible with changing priorities with an ability to adapt to the needs of the construction rental industry

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills
