Midas on the Danforth is currently seeking a Licensed Technician to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Repair Orders with efficiency and accuracy in our fast-paced environment including diagnostic, brakes, frontend/steering, and exhaust
  • Complete automotive maintenance responsibilities, including oil/filter changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, coolant flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations, and ensuring the vehicle satisfies the Factory Scheduled Maintenance guide.
  • Using our Digital Vehicle Inspection to illustrate the vehicle's health and recommend repairs/maintenance
  • Conducting road tests on vehicles to ensure the quality of repair and guaranteeing vehicles return in excellent condition
  • Staying updated with technical skills and attend sponsored training classes.
  • Maintain working environment; ensure equipment durability and workplace safety/cleanliness.
  • Required to wear safety equipment and clothing (i.e., safety glasses and footwear).

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310s) and registered with the Ontario College of Trades.
  • A valid Ontario Class G Drivers’ License is required.
  • Highly skilled with technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with attention to detail.
