Full job description

Maple Leaf Construction Ltd. is currently hiring full time seasonal Class 3 Tandem/Water Truck Drivers

Duties include:

  • Operate water and tandem equipment safely
  • Pulling a trailer
  • Chaining and secure equipment on a trailer to be moved
  • Perform maintenance check and pre-trip inspections
  • Hauling water and or hauling base and excavated materials
  • Ensure on-time delivery of asphalt, aggregates and other road construction materials
  • Maintain truck box to remove any/all debris when necessary
  • Perform miscellaneous labourer activities throughout the day as necessary

Requirements include:

  • 2 years’ experience in road construction industry preferred
  • Valid Class 3 Driver’s License and clean abstract
  • Knowledge of construction materials
  • Must be physically fit ability to lift, bend, and regularly climb in and out of vehicles
  • Good attitude, punctual, ability to work independently and work as part of a team
  • Must be able to take direction well and communicate effectively
  • Ability to work extended hours including weekends if necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $28.80-$33.01 per hour
