Sterling Bulk Solutions Inc, PetroValue is one of Canada’s leading independent marketers of petroleum products. We offer a wide variety of aviation, marine and land fuels used to power commercial and industrial customers across Canada. We are looking for experienced Class 1 fuel truck drivers to join our growing team. We offer competitive pay schedules tied to performance and safety, medical and dental, RRSP matching contributions and we have stable work all year round. Drivers will be dispatched from our office/ yard located in Langley, BC and will work remotely as required.

Driver Duties will include:

  • Full Time; Permanent – 4 on 4, Mon to Fri and or weekend schedules available.
  • Manual Transmission Endorsement Required. Entire fleet is manual.
  • Deliver fuel to our customer tanks and equipment in positive and safe manner.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions to meet our customer demands. Chaining commercial vehicles due to snow is likely in winter.
  • Compliance of all Hours of Service Regulations and TDG Regulations and Guidelines required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in order to retain existing business.
  • Work independently and or within our team to complete the daily delivery responsibilities.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections pre/post trip including checklists.
  • Provide timely and accurate logs and delivery documents in accordance with regulatory bodies.
  • Adhere to all safety and commercial driving regulations.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years class 1 mountain driving experience. Super B experience required.
  • Manual Transmission Endorsement Required
  • Hwy 3 Experience considered a significant asset.
  • Valid and clean commercial drivers license with air endorsement.
  • TDG training will be provided however applicants with current TDG training will be considered as a priority.
  • We are a customer service driven company, strong yet friendly communication and problem solving skills are paramount to be successful at PetroValue/Sterling Bulk.
  • Must display the ability to think on your feet and in an environment with limited supervision.
  • When working with Dangerous goods, safety is our #1 priority and we require someone who values safety and compliance as much as we do.
  • Drivers with current terminal passes is considered an asset.
  • PetroValue/Sterling Bulk services customers 24/7 – 365 days per year and each driver will be expected to be flexible with their work schedule and will be required to sometimes work evenings, weekends or holidays.
